This version rotted my PC.

ERROR NvCpl.dll LOADING
I have to repair Windows system with another PC, to repair my video

Riwa, install Q-Xpress 1.0 from www.delphster.net/QXpressSetup.zip and then reinstall 1.1.6.

JLouis, I can't imagine why installing the Q-Xpress damaged your graphics. The only thing I can suggest is that you re-download the Installer, and try again.

When I instail 1.16  I get a runtime error '5' invalid procedure call or argument.  I have tried daily to re install and it just does not work.

mine is doing the same thing.  cannot install any of the custom downloads. even erased the custom programs and re-installed q-x 1.1.6.  nada.  this is a mess

I was using the Q-Xpress Installer and it was working fine. Next thing you know, an error message pops up:

SimSistah_14: You haven't deleted queue.dat and queue.xml. Also, please delete the contents of the Temp folder in the Q-Xpress directory.

wwnise and zandersboxx: did you try the methods suggested in the sticky I mentioned above? If not, please do. In the meantime I'll look through old cases and see if I can remember how to fix this one.

Mine is giving the exact same error message as SimSistah_14, and a windows search for queue.dat xml, didn't find anything in that folder. Moved history.xml, no .dat file existed. I tried reinstalling, and it didn't fix the problem either. The temp file is empty, as is the downloads folder. It worked before, probably about a month or two ago when I last went on a download spree.

My problems seem fairly universal.  When I first DL and install the program, which I've done about four times now, it runs fine.  However, upon the second use, however proximal that may be, it simply ceases to put anything in the Sims2/Downloads folder.  The items are in the downloads folder for QEx, still in their .rar formats.    temp is empty, and if I empty QEx/downloads and uninstall and reinstall, it repeats this pattern of behavior.

Any ideas?
