When I try to open Q-Xpress, it just says "Run-time error '75' Path/File access error". The program shows up, but I can't download anything - as soon as I try it just says "Q-Xpress - deburg version came across a problem, and need to be cancelled". Help anyone?

it might be because you have more than one user account using the program. i have this problem and it only started after i used qxpress in the other account. then it wouldn't work in the first account!
so maybe if you delete the second account it will work. ill go try that now!!  Wink

I get this same problem.  There is no way that more than one user account is using the program in my case- nobody else in my family even plays the sims.  I would appreciate if somebody answered this question soon, becuase I want to start downloading- I don't even have an older version of Q-Xpress.

EUREKA  Grin I HAVE FOUND THE ANSWER!My problem was that my antivirus-trend micro PC-cillin- had it as blocked spyware, it was even stopping my MSN, until, that is, i unistalled it because i forgot my password and as soon as i restart my computer after the uninstallation MSN starts up! then i try Q-Express and it WORKED! i hope this comes in handy for someone else!

P.S: Didn't work for my password tho Cry so im going to have to use another antivirus. a word of warning, DON'T LOSE PASSWORDS!!!

I still don't understand how to fix the problem....do I uninstall my Norton program? I have Norton 360, and I think that might be preventing me from using Q-Express. I get the same error message. I do not know how to change the Norton 360 settings or disable Norton 360. Please help!

Alright, back again to say that I figured out how to disable Norton, and the error is still popping up. What do I do?

Run-Time error '75' Path/file access error

I tried deleted my downloads and temp, and dragging the files to my desktop as stated. Although initially the queue file wasn't even there, so I got my friend to send me it as it works on her computer. That didn't work, so i got her to send me the whole darn folder, which still didn't work. I tried uninstalling my virus scanner, which didn't work. Heck I tried uninstalling/reinstalling qexpresss about 50 bajillion times with no luck. I tried system restore just in case, but that just messed up my internet connection.

Can someone PLEASE tell me what the problem is?

The problem is that you are missing the "teleport" folder. It's very easy to fix. Just go to The Sims 2 folder in My Documents and make a teleport folder.

I have the exact same error but none of that has worked. Any ideas? I HAVE a teleport file.
