I used to have this program installed on my computer, but then I uninstalled it along with all my Sims 2 games. When I tried to reinstall it today I was getting the error message like 75 or something. I was using Mozilla Firefox, and when I opened the page and downloaded it with basic Internet Explorer it worked fine. I've been downloading stuff with no problem.

I just tried to use the program and now it's telling me it isn't even installed on my computer anymore. I didn't even uninstall it!

I get this: "qxpress://qxfiles.modthesims2.com/qxpress.php?post=1523507. Application not found"

And right after I click OK I get this one:

"Internet Explorer cannot open this helper application for qxpress://qxfiles.modthesims2.com/qxpress.php?post=1523507. The protocol specified in this address is not valid. Make sure the address is correct, and try again."

Click OK and no more error messages.

I will reinstall, but why would it "uninstall" itself?  Huh

Edit: I checked my debug logs, but there are about 500 of them in there and I'm not sure which one to post here. The latest one is over 120kb in size and about three pages long...

When I try to download something with Q-Xpress, it takes forever to open, then when it finally does, it isn't trying to download the file(s). If I open Q-Xpress, then try to download the file(s), it says it's getting the file, then after a small wait, it says it can't open the file. What should I do?

I have the same exact problem. And I've been reading around and others have too but they've solved it through allowing Q-Xpress on their firewall list. Thing is, I don't HAVE a firewall at all, period.

I've also seen where they've been told that it's due to so many people downloading. I fount a very old file along with a low download rate and it still did not work.

Help please.

I am having this problem too, except I can't even download things from MTS2 without Q-xpress either! I have no way of downloading this stuff and it's making me angry! This started before I ever downloaded the updated version today... that was the reason I downloaded it in the FIRST place. What is going on?!

Mine hasn't been working the past few days. Every time I go to open it, or try and install files I get:

Run-time error '-2147024770 (8007007e)':
Automation error
The specified module could not be found

I uninstalled and reinstalled it twice, and nothing's gotten better

I'd put up my Debug, but I have about seven Debug files, and I don't know which one to put up.

hi,
I used to have Q-Xpress on my old computer with TheSims2 and I had no problems whatsoever with it. Now that I'm on my new computer, and I've installed the new Q-Xpress 1.1.9, I have a couple. When I was at Modthesims2.com, and I clicked on the Q-Xpress button when i wanted to install something, it would show up in my Q-Xpress fine. Then when I clicked the Install button, it would say some error [cant remember now and i guess that doesnt help] then it would close. But now when I go to Modthesims2.com, the Q-Xpress button doesnt even show up!!!

please help me! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and nothings been working.   Embarrassed

I have had an error all day today "Runtime error 11". Now there is no option to even use QX. Has it be removed because its so busy at the MTS2? I have never had a problem before using it and its my only way I can download from MTS2. Thanks.

All day yesterday I kept getting the "Runtime error 11". I didn't have a clue what it meant. I tried to download content yesterday, it listed it all but it came up with that everytime and then closed to QXpress installer box. Today the Q has gone completely. I thought I was the only one having this problem so I re-installed it again but nothing changed. I don't know, maybe it is a problem at MTS2 but I hope it gets sorted out soon, I really wanna get downloading again.  Tongue

Hi there I'm having a bit of a problem with my installer. Undecided

Whenever I try to install from my own files on the local install It gets so far in the instalation and then a message pops up saying ...

:NULL: memory check on <!> at Z:\projects\MoleStudio\MoleSkin2\mcore\m_mem.cpp:57

Then when I click the OK another message comes up

Runtime Error!

Program: ...ram Files\ModTheSims2.com\Q-Xpress Installer\QXpress.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.

After this message Q-Xpress shut's down.

I'm completely lost  Huh so PLEASE give me some help!!!
Thank you!!!
