sigh yea figures i got a problem Sad anyway when ever i start q-xpress it says "runtime error 75" PAth File Access Error.

Debug

 Just downloaded the Q-Xpress Installer program from MTS2 but it does not load after running the install.  This is my first time using Q-Express and the only thing I did was download and run the install.  I downloaded QXpressSetup_1.1.9.exe at 12:30 on 31 Dec 06. 

When I click on the icon I get the message:

Run-time error 372;

Failed to load control SSTab from TABCTL32.OCX.  Your verion of TABCTL32.OCX may be outdated.  Make sure you are using the version of the control that was provided with the application.

fortkentdad,  install the non-NSIS install (ie one of the QXpressSetup.zip files from http://www.q-xpressinstaller.com/files/ ) and then *without uninstalling*, reinstall 1.1.9 over the top.

jadelovesshoes, try deleting all files that have debug.log in the name in your QX program folder.

hey,

i tried deleting all debug log files but i'm still getting run time error 75 path/file access error when i try to use q-xpress

I have the newest version of Q-Xpress and for a while it was working. Then it would give me some error message and close on me. It started doing this more and more frequently so I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and it didn't help. It got to the point where I couldn't download anything because it would close on me constantly so I stopped using it for a while. RecentlyI decided to try using it again and it worked no problem but today when I tried to download something the program wouldn't even open. I uninstalled and reinstalled it and still nothing. Usually I would just click on the link for the .zip or .rar file but now that won't even work. I have no idea what's wrong or what to do.

I just got the new 1.1.9 and I tried to download one item. I had waited over twenty minutes and it still hadn't appeared in my installer window. I did click on th Q like it said to, to download. I also tried holding down the Ctrl button and that didn't work also. I have tried and failed many times and I would like to figure out what's wrong with it or my computer. Can you give me any advice?

** I also just got a new computer and it is showing up as a new tab (the download). If that helps at all.

jadelovesshoes, go into My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/ and make a folder called Teleport.

Damiana and coryj., because so many people are downloading over the holidays the fileserver is having a hard time keeping up, and downloads are very slow. Just try again in a few days, when the kids are back in school Wink

hey!

I got lots and lots of crashes :s you know, that after a while it says 'an error has occured" and you can shut it down and start again cause it doesnt continue? I also have that it takes a long time before the Q window pops up..

ya i have the new version of q-xpress and i click the q alot when i want to download but they never show up in my queue......i am very technically impaired so can some1 help me!!!!! Lips sealed Undecided Cry Tongue Roll Eyes Huh Cool Sad Angry Grin Cheesy Wink Smiley
