Do you have a Downloads folder and a Teleport folder in My Docs/EA Games/The Sims 2? If not, make them and try again.

What I did was transfer my games to another acount to play them. It said downloads would go to the new downloads folder. I didn't know if it was from this acount or not.

Could you explain further? I don't understand what you're trying to say, or how it relates to the runtime error.

Ok, I do have a downloads folder. But I transfered my whole game on a different acount, following the tutorial smoother performancre via new user acount on modthesims. It says that downloads will be sent to the other acounts. So I do not have a sims 2 folder on the acount I usually am on. Does that have anything to do with my problem?

Ah, yes, you should be able to get this all working if you use the Q-Xpress from your sims account.

storm22, short answer, yes. If you really can't do it that way, then create these folders in your main account: My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Downloads My Documents/EA Games/The Sims 2/Teleport (You don't need the other game folders), and you can install the downloads on your main account, then copy the contents of those folders into the corresponding folders on your sims account.
adc101, I'll need a debug.log please.
