Version 1.1.3 released!

This version fixes a bug were non-MTS2 .qxpress files where not parsed correctly, resulting in them not working on other sites.

 It also adds the ability to have multiple files specified within the same .qxpress file - this functionality is now implemented on MTS2 and requires everybody to update as the existing 1.1, 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 (if you had it) programs will no longer work.

    After update, “red” downloads dont show up in Q-xpress but in the status bar, total downloads in queue is 1 or more.
    When i try to install i get the error message:
    “Run time error 35755
    No remote Computer Specified”

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled version 1.1.2 but still same error. When i only choose the blue icons, items shows up in the list and is installed without errors.

    I have just updated 1.1.2 so if you have tried any MTS2 links in the past 10 mins or so you’ll need to redownload.

    yey this one actually let me install 1.1.3 and not 1.0.88

    everytime i click on a red “Q”, it asks me if i want to run or save the file, so i click on run and it opens it up in q-xpress an i click install. it works fine, but this process is annoying. Also, in firefox (which i normally use) i have to go through the same process. i was wondering if this would be fixed in a future version.

    Bob, This is a browser issue. Basically the same thing happens as would with Rar or Zip files - becuase it’s opening an external program. Unfortunately, no workaround at the moment.

    Right Click, Save Target As… save to your desktop. Double click. Install.

    Make sure you aren’t running QXpress when you install it.

    I am haveing trouble getting the new up date like the last updates i have tried everything but i am still getting the 1.0.88 and i am trying everyting to get the new one
    so how can i get it?

    I installed the 1.1.3 but when i click the red icon to download items it doesnt show up in install it ask me to save to disk is this how it is suppose to work, confused!!!!

    Yes thats supposed to happen. Just click Open.

    i am haveing problems with the new update it is still giveing me the old update i tried for the new one’s but i am still getting 1.0.88 it is driveing me mad i have tried everything so what else can i do?

    When I try to install it the Q Express it installs it in a .zip format. Isn’t it supposed to be .exe, because that’s how it shows it on the tutorials. Is there any way to get it .exe?

    I tried to download this new version and it did it in .exe. It downloaded the right way. When I actually try to install it, something always pops up saying that there was an error opening this file or writing:

    C:\Program Files\ModTheSims2.com\Q-Xpress Installer\QXpress.exe

    When I push Ignore, it wont even install it because it says I am missing some information or something. Do you know what that means or how I can fix this? Thanks.

    When I try to download items with the Q Xpress Installer it always says I have an error. I always get this same error: File Not Found unrar.dll

    Do you know what this means and how I can stop it? Thanks.

    For those that are having install problems please read the FAQ entry I posted.

    Erica, please provide a full debug.log from when the problem occurs.
